ARTIST'S BIO

Herefordshire based emerging artist, Suzanna Reynolds, has been focused on drawing and painting  since graduating from Hereford College of Arts in 2013. 

Her expressionistic style is informed by her 30  year career as a social worker, as well as her influencers. Amongst these are  Egon Schiele, Kathe Kollwitz,  Francis Bacon, Max Beckman and Ken kiff. Within her imagery,  forms are processed  which unfold in a dreamlike sequence that invite the viewer into an internal world. Someone once described this as moving through  ‘ancient realms’  

Her achievements, as  prizewinner several times, and a having held a number of  solo shows, during  her career,  whilst juggling work with  her art practice, demonstrate her commitment and yearning. Initially  self taught, her passions drew her to a more formal training which she acknowledges she gained much more from, as a mature student. It was at  degree level where she embedded her voice.

Since then she has sold work to collectors in the UK and US
